Why Communicate?

Employee Retention

A recent study by Saratoga Institute* gives the "Top 10 Reasons Employees Leave a Company." Of those reasons, nine are directly related to communication... or a lack thereof!

Consider this: losing just one employee costs far more than investing in an effective communications program.

Why? The costs involved with turnover include backfilling, recruitment, training and client losses. In fact, studies indicate that turnover cost is at least the annual cost of wage and benefits for each employee who leaves!

Where would you rather spend your time and money: communicating with — or replacing — your employees?
